Covid Advice

Only get a test if you have coronavirus symptoms or have been asked to get tested.

Do not use this service to get a test in order to travel to another country. You can pay for a private test.

This will help make sure people who need a test can get one.

Follow the instructions on the link below  if you have any of the above symptoms or have been asked to book a test.

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-a-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus/

Public Health England have produced a letter for schools to distribute to parents which explains when a person requires a coronavirus test and what the symptoms of coronavirus are.

You can view the letter here.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why are some children in Pods instead of Classes?

Guidance says that Year Group Pods can be used if more practical,  It helps with staggered break and lunch times and some shared spaces e.g. toilets and cloakrooms. We are using both methods; Class "bubbles" Y1-Y6 and the "Pod" approach is being used in our Early Years shared unit.

  • Will we be testing the children if we think they have symptoms?

No.  School will not be testing anyone with any symptoms.  Any person displaying Corona Virus sympoms will be asked to get a test at their local testing centre.
