Football

The school football teams have enjoyed wonderful success in recent years. In the 2017-18 season the u10s mixed team 'did the double' winning the Huddersfield Schools League and Cup competition. In 2018-19 the same team, now u11s, have retained the Cup and are currently unbeaten in the League.

In December, the team competed well in the County Cup Finals at West Riding FA, Woodlesford, narrowly missing out on a place in the North of England stage of the ESFA Cup.

In January, the school fielded a girls team for the first time. The u9s girls competed in the Hudderfield Town Community competition at Soccer City. The u9s boys also played and both teams got a chance to have their picture with the Premier League trophy!

Mr Finn's football club runs every Monday evening during the Autumn and Spring terms. The club is always well attended and offers boys and girls the chance to improve their skills and have fun.

Pennine Sports Partnership

The School also has an excellent reputation for dancing, led by Miss Scott. We enter the 'Strictly Pennine' dance event at Lawrence Batley Theatre as well as hosting in-school events such as the annaul 'Extravaganza.'
